The brainchild of the Espinoza brothers who brought their love of Mexican cuisine to the U.S more than 30 years ago, Pancho Villa Taqueria was tasked with a single goal by the passionate duo: Perfect the American concept of a Mexican Taqueria. In evolving our business to exhibit new levels of excellence, we introduced the superior wrapped burrito, lean meats, house-made chips and even a salsa bar to the flavor-infatuated Bay Area restaurant circuit. Since its inception, Pancho Villa Taqueria has been the go-to Mexican cuisine spot for not only San Mateo and San Francisco’s loyal locals, but for the visitor crowd as well.

Highlights from our menu include a Fiesta Platter with nachos, garlic prawns, chicken flauta, corn quesadilla, grilled onions, guacamole, sour cream and salsa; our vegan tofu ranchero; the fresh fish tacos seared to perfection; the Torta Ahogada, smothered in a special hot sauce; and of course, our famous super large burritos that can be prepared with an an assortment of meats and fish including Carne Asada, Chicken Asada, Carnitas, Al Pastor, Chorizo, Spicy Chicken, Prawns, Red Snapper, and Salmon.
